passes through three stages before it is recognized.
In the first, it is ridiculed.
In the second, it is opposed.
In the third, it is regarded as self-evident.

WHY people love the TRUTH but don’t want to be proven wrong
and refuse to be shown that mistake?
BECAUSE:
Questions about death always refer to “a time . . . after death”.
Jesus preached: “Repent! For the kingdom of heaven is near.” (Matthew 4:17)
I tell you the TRUTH: (John 6:47)
He who believes has everlasting life.
Whereof one cannot speak—thereof one must be silent (Wittgenstein).
Science teaches how the heavens go
and
religion teaches how to go to heaven.
A religion cannot become a global faith without books to TEACH.
The pope in Rome had the Bible (Old & New Testaments) translated into Latin—
the lingua franca of the fifth century.
Where they burn books, they will ultimately also burn people (Heine).
China today:
Where they burn “free speech (freedom of religion)”,
they will also “burn/punish” the dissenters.
FREE SPEECH —what is left over when a community has determined in advance
what it does not want to hear (censorship).
TRUTH by its very nature is cruel, and to protect themselves against the TRUTH
—to see things as they really are—
people believed what they wished to believe—in order to SURVIVE.
What you cannot prove—YOU CAN BELIEVE
BELIEF is thicker than critical thinking.
The TRUTH you believe and cling to— makes you unavailable to hear anything new.
In the past, at royal courts,
the CLOWN
was the only one allowed to
TELL THE TRUTH
LIFE isn’t about “finding yourself”.
LIFE is about “creating yourself”.
